Attractions in Florence

Diana Park Hotel provides its guests with personalised trips and excursions to discover all the beauty of Tuscany countryside.

Trip to the Chianti area

Since Etruscan times, Chianti has been a viticulture area. In addition to cellars and farms where you can taste some of the finest Italian wines, when you visit Chianti you will meet an infinite number of ancient abbeys, castles and characteristic villages; an ideal route to discover all the richness of Florence and Tuscany’s culture and traditions.

Excursions to Fiesole, Siena e San Gimignano
Fiesole – A small village located on the top of the hills surrounding Florence. We suggest visiting the Cathedral and the Roman amphitheatre. Reaching the church of San Francesco, in the highest point of Fiesole, you can enjoy an enchanting panorama of Florence.

Siena – Medieval village that retains all the charm of its ancient past. You walk inside a labyrinth of narrow streets and gothic palaces, until you reach the square described by Montagne as "the most beautiful of the world"; Piazza del Campo is the seat of the Palio, that every year the ancient town quarters competes on horseback each other.

San Gimignano – Another medieval gem known for the 72 towers that represented the noble families of the city. You can’t miss the Torture museum, the Civic museum and the Torre Grossa, the highest tower of San Gimignano, situated in the magnificent Piazza del Duomo.
